Meet Our Physician
Dr. Robert D. Boyd is the president and owner of Woodbridge Medical Group. Born into a family of physicians, helping people in need was ingrained in him since he was a child. Dr. Boyd's father was a doctor, and his mother was a nurse.
Like his siblings, he followed in their footsteps by becoming a medical professional.
To become the physician he is today, Dr. Boyd graduated from medical school in 1974. He then finished his internship in 1975 before going into practice. Dr. Boyd later became board-certified in 1982. Since then, he has diagnosed and treated
patients using his medical training. He also encourages them to stay physically fit by running and completing other exercises. A runner himself, Dr. Boyd has completed 96 marathons, including the Boston Marathon. Every bit of exercise
helps if the patients are physically able to do so.
